Although we can build a tour offering specifically to suit your needs and budget, here are a couple of our most popular choices to inspire you. We suggest to all of our clients to partake in at least one eco-touristic activity - to experience Costa Rican nature in its pure form: unconstrained, untouched, and undiscovered.

Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
About a 3 1/2–hour drive from Guanacaste, the majestic Arenal Volcano offers a breathtaking experience. Hiking in the area creates an irresistible sense of awe; and after a day of exploration, the Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort welcomes visitors with many options, including relaxing in the pool’s bar, or recharging directly in the hot springs! As the night falls, the guests are invited to dine while they watch lava come down the slopes and illuminate Arenal’s peak in the surrounding darkness.

Surfing
Regardless of one’s surfing experience level, Costa Rica is sure to impress. Everything, from transportation and lunch to equipment and lessons with an instructor, can be arranged so that guests can partake in this adventure focusing only on conquering the waves ahead.
The province of Guanacaste is one of the best places for surfing because of its crystal-clear waters and beautiful beaches. The most popular destinations in the province and in the country are Witch’s Rock, Ollie’s Point and the beach town of Tamarindo.

Sport Fishing
Costa Rica, in addition to being bordered by two oceans, is covered with miles of rivers and abundant fresh water lakes, making the country a sport fishing paradise.
Guests can choose to participate in a whirlwind day of rod and reel activity that starts at dawn on the Caribbean coast, continues midday at Lake Arenal, and has them setting bait in the Pacific before sundown! Up and down the coast there are hotels and resorts that show fishing and non-fishing guests a great time.

|
Scuba Diving
Scuba diving in Guanacaste is superb due to the near-perfect water conditions. Playas del Coco is one of the best scuba diving zones in Guanacaste; but Isla Catalina and Isla Murciélago offer an even greater variety of aquatic life.
Guest can observe angelfish, parrotfish, clown shrimp, spotted eagle rays, hogfish and bull sharks.
